Cameron, Missouri- Malcolm “Scotty” Monroe Scott, 84, Cameron, passed away January 10, 2012,
Scotty was born on November 3, 1927 in Newtown, Missouri to Trulan and Alta (Pigg) Scott.
Scotty was a 1945 graduate of Cameron High School.
He was a member of the Cameron United Methodist Church and was active in Boy Scouts.
He owned and operated Scotty’s Carriage Works in Cameron, MO, where his antique wrecker is on display at the International Towing and Recovery Hall of Fame and Museum, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved son, Charles Scott and sister, Marjorie Massey.
On September 19, 1948, he married Carolyn Ann Bennett. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors: 3 sons, Gary (Cindy) Scott, Commerce Township, MI, Ron (Robbin) Scott, Overland Park, KS, Mike (Adrienne) Scott, Cameron; daughter, Kay (Brad) Hutchens, Frisco, TX; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Services: 11:00 AM, Friday, January 13, 2012 at the Cameron United Methodist Church. Visitation: 6-8:00 PM, Thursday evening at the church. Burial: Cameron Memory Gardens, Cameron. Memorial donations may be made to Cameron United Methodist
