1923-2015

Gladstone, Missouri- Edmund Stanley Tutt, 92, Gladstone, Missouri passed away on November 4, 2015 at NorthCare Hospice, North Kansas City, MO.
Edmund was born November 3, 1923 in Freeland, PA, son of Gus and Helen Tulanowski.
He graduated from Freeland High School in 1941. Edmund enlisted in the service November 1942. He was in the Signal Corp and took his training at University of Georgia for a year and then attached to Army Air Forces maintaining long wire communication systems under General Patton. He was honorably discharged October 1945.
Edmund came to Kansas City, Missouri soon after discharge to attend Central Radio and Television School. During this time he met Mary Lee Burr from Osborn, Missouri. They were married June 11, 1950 at her parent’s home near Osborn.
Edmund worked for United Medical Equipment Company, Low Xray Corp and in 1968 purchased The Chenoweth Company, operating until 2003, closing the business due to health issues.
He was a member of the Smith Fork Baptist Church, Osborn, MO, where he taught adult Sunday School class for many years, sang in the choir and played the organ for several years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee, of the home; two sisters, Connie Blonski, Boise, ID and Alice Sowa, Penndel, PA; three nieces and two nephews.
Preceded by his parents; brother, Johnny killed in World War II and one nephew.
Services: 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation: 12:30-2:00 PM, prior to the service. Burial: Osborn Evergreen Cemetery, Osborn.
