Ellen was a member of the Avondale United Methodist Church, Avondale, MO and the Red Hat Society.
Survivors: Son, Jim (Cecilia) Richardson, Liberty, MO; 5 grandchildren, Jim L., Cynthia, Sarah, Lisa and Emily; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothea Young, Kansas City, MO; brother-in-law, Jack Richardson, Union Star, MO.
