Linda was born on December 31, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri to Earl and Frances (Bradford) Slayton.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earl and brother-in-law, Steve Burkhart.
On March 16, 1968, Linda married Larry Thomas Burkhart in Cameron, MO.
Linda worked for 13 years in the cafeteria at Parkview Elementary in Cameron, Missouri before retiring.
Survivors: husband of 48 years, Tom, of the home; 3 sons, Larry Thomas (Becky) Burkhart, Jr., Tony Michael (Sadie) Burkhart and Timmy Daniel Burkhart (Skye Presby); mother, Frances Cox; brothers, Danny and John Feighert; sister, Colene Comberland; 5 grandchildren, Devin, Ryan, Trevor, Hannah and Wyatt Burkhart; 3 great-grandchildren, Kain, Sylas and Decker Burkhart; best friends for 40 years, Mavis and Bob Cope; nieces and nephews.
