The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dorothy LaDenne Olsen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Becky Caldwell
Condolence: Tony and Steve grew up together and I had the privilege for a while of having Dorothy and G. H. as my in-laws. Though, I have not had that title for many, many years, (Pam, Mary, and Jennifer have been so blessed) we all have remained close. Dorothy was a very special lady not only was she good to Tony and I she was good to our children as well.
She was adventurous, there were very few things that Dorothy could not do, and right now I cannot think of anything she would have refused to at least “try.” She left a lasting impression on my family and I have no doubt our community feels the same way. She will be deeply missed.
Though my heart is broken over her sudden passing, I cannot help but feel so blessed to have had her in our lives. I have I no doubt where she is and I look forward to day I get to see her again.

Words cannot express how saddened I was to hear of Dorothy's sudden passing. What a wonderful, sweet lady she was. I truly thought the world of her. How blessed you were to call her "Mom". She will be greatly missed.
