Cameron, Missouri- Karen Ellen Haas, 79, Cameron passed away on March 5, 2018.
Karen was born October 18, 1938 in Knoxville, Iowa to Opal Sylvester and Gladys(Taggart) Bowery. They preceded her in death.
She earned an Associate’s Degree from Missouri Western State College in criminal justice.
Karen worked as a military entrance processor for the United States Department of Defense and worked for Clay County Juvenile Detention Center.
On February 29, 1964, Karen married David F. Haas in Pleasantville, Iowa. He survives of the home.
Additional survivors: 2 daughters, Angie Hale, Cameron and Candee (Jeff) Parker, Earlham, IA; sister, Vyrlee Sease, Brookings, OR; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements and cremation by Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
