1945-2018
Cameron, Missouri- Daniel Ervin Walker, 72, passed away on April 11, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.
Dan was born on May 21, 1945 in Birmingham, Alabama to Ervin Lee and Flora Eloise (Garner) Walker. They preceded him in death.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and he had a strong testimony of his Savior Jesus Christ. He was a master electrician, before retiring.
On June 4, 1965, Dan married Faye Smith in Memphis, Tennessee.
Survivors: wife of 52 years, Faye, of the home; 5 sons, Brett (Heather) Walker, Pleasant Valley, MO, Bart (Lisa) Walker, Holt, MO, Brian (Brandi) Walker, Cameron, MO, Brannon Walker, William (Kyrie) Walker, Kansas City, MO; 7 daughters, Sherrye (Chris) Meador, Kearney, MO, Shena’ (Lantz) Allen, West Jordon, UT, Sarah Walker, Pleasant Valley, MO, Suzanne (Mike) Fitzwater, Knob Noster, MO, Stephanie (Erick) Sohm, Kearney, MO, Samantha Walker, Cameron, MO and Stacey (Mike) Erwin, Kingston, MO; 46 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Melvin (Marty) Walker, Samantha, AL; 2 sisters, Joyce Alexander, Olive Branch, MS and Gail (Johnny) Jackson, Coker, AL; 14 nieces and nephews.
Services: 12:00 PM, Monday, April 16, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Cameron. Visitation: 11:00 AM-12:00PM, prior to the service. Burial: Highland Cemetery, Hamilton, MO. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
