Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James William Marcum can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Roger Bishop
Condolence: I met James in Technical school at Goodfellow AFB, TX in 1980, and we managed to stay in touch over the next 20 years or so during our time in the Air Force. While I was stationed in England in 1982, I managed to visit him and tour Berlin Germany where he was stationed before the wall fell with East Berlin. We also took a train down the Rhine river and visited Frankfurt, Switzerland and other locations. It was a great trip and as it is with two young people backpacking around Europe and staying in youth hostels we had a great time! We happened to be stationed in Korea at about the same time although he was stationed at Kunsan AB while I was stationed at Osan AFB and we managed to visit a few times. I’ll always remember these great times we had together. Rest in peace James until we meet again!!

Condolence: I will always have a place in my heart for James. Knew him since our time at Technical school at Goodfellow AFB, TX in 1980. Although we were never stationed together after that, we still managed to keep a connection over all these years. RIP brother. We will meet again some day.
