1975-2018
Cameron, Missouri- Amy Marie Mefford, 43, Cameron, passed away on May 11, 2018.
Amy was born on April 8, 1975 to Dennis and Pat (Linville) Richardson in Chillicothe, Missouri.
She was a 1993 graduate of Penney High School, Hamilton, MO and 1997 graduate of Missouri Western State University with a Bachelor of Education degree. Amy was currently teaching 7th grade at Cameron Intermediate School. She previously taught at Pattonsburg and Stewartsville, Missouri. Amy was a member of MSTA.
On October 31, 2000, Amy married Brian Mefford in Cameron, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her son, Garrett; maternal grandparents, Archie and Alice Linville; paternal grandmother, Caroline Richardson; grandparents-in-law, Harold and Peggy Mefford; nephew, Darian Mefford; and niece, Taylor Mefford.
Survivors: husband, Brian, of the home; twins, Aiden and Maddisson, of the home; parents, Dennis and Pat Richardson, Hamilton, MO; brother, Jon Richardson, Kansas City, MO; brother-in law, Brad (Laurie) Mefford, Cameron; niece and nephews, Griffin, Wyatt and Elizabeth; godson, Jamesson Holder.
Memorial service: 6:00 PM, Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the Cameron United Methodist Church. Friends will be received at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, prior to the memorial service and after.
Funeral service: 10:00 AM, Friday, May 18, 2018 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery, Cameron, MO. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Amy Mefford Scholarship Fund for future teachers. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
