Cameron, Missouri- Maurice Wright, 93, Cameron, passed away on May 17, 2018.
Maurice was born on April 29, 1925 in Pattonsburg, Missouri to Roy and Ora Mae (White) Wright.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers, Olin, Merlin, Harold and Marvin.
Maurice was a 1943 graduate of Winston High School. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in World War II.
He was a member of the Cameron United Methodist Church and a former Winston school board member.
On May 20, 1950, Maurice married Cleta Wilson in Cameron, Missouri.
Survivors: wife of 68 years, Cleta, of the home; 3 daughters, Patricia (Dean) Akin, Kearney, MO, Pam (Joe) McQuerrey, Lawson, MO and Nancy (Tim) Deshler, Kansas City, MO; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Services: 11:00 AM, Monday, May 21, 2018 at Cameron United Methodist Church. Visitation: 1 hour prior to service. Burial: Cameron Memory Gardens, Cameron.
