Cameron, Missouri- Barbara Ann Coolman, 65, Cameron, passed away on September 6, 2018 at her home.
Barbara was born on November 4, 1952 in Burwell, Nebraska to H. David and Ruth Ann (Jurgensen) Petersen.
She was preceded in death by her father, H. David Petersen; husband, James Coolman; sister, Sharon Field and brother-in-law, Donald Field.
Barbara was a graduate of Loup County High School, Taylor, NE and from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelors of Education in Music.
She was a member of the Fellowship Worship Center, where she was a pianist for worship team. Barbara worked on the Clinton County Senate Bill 40 Board and served on the Plattsburg Jail Ministry.
Barbara was the Administrative Assistant for the Clinton County Health Department.
Survivors: children, Tina (Justin) Stuart, Blue Springs, MO, Jeff Coolman, Kansas City, MO, Wendy Coolman, Cameron, MO and Tim (Emily) Coolman, Savannah, MO; mother, Ruth Ann Petersen, Burwell, NE; 7 grandchildren, Tyler, Paige, and Tessa Stuart, Charlotte, Lincoln, Luke and Ivy Coolman; sister, Janice (Rolland) White, Broken Bow, NE; 2 brothers, Alan (Susan) Petersen, Burwell, NE and Glen (Judy) Petersen, Burwell, NE; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services: 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Fellowship Worship Center, Cameron. Visitation: 6-8:00 PM, Monday evening at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron, MO. Burial: Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Plattsmouth, NE. Memorial donation to Dream Catchers Therapeutic Riding.
