We have nothing but wonderful memories of Uncle Don. Visiting the farm was always a highlight for our kids--seeing the cows, picking up the wild kittens, checking for eggs in the chicken coop--such fun for us "city folk". But more so, we loved his hospitality, kind heart and evident hard work ethic. We loved how he played with his dogs and bantered with Aunt Jan. We loved hearing all the stories he would share. We appreciated how he and Aunt Jan took the time to come all the way to Lee's Summit to visit June and bring her candy and us fresh corn on the cob! He was just such a good, good, genuine man. We will miss you Uncle Don.
