Independence, Missouri- Harold Ray Thornton, 66, Independence, passed away October 7, 2017.
Harold was born June 13, 1951 in Cameron, Missouri to Delmar and Vivian (Thompson) Thornton.
He was a 1969 graduate of Raytown High School. Harold was an electrician for Shaw Electric. He was a member of IBEW Local 8.
Harold was preceded in death by his father, Delmar and a niece, Theroin Jordan.
Survivors: companion, Jean Evans, Independence, MO; daughter, Mindy (John) Thomas, Bates City, MO; son, Ryan (Kelly) Thornton, Stover, MO; mother, Vivian Thornton, Independence, MO; brother, David (Debbie) Thornton, Independence, MO; sister, Janice (Jerry) Jordan, Fort Madison, Iowa; 5 grandchildren, Morgan, Megan, Jack, Vivy and Owen.
