Juanita Jackson was born February 5th, 1951 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Angus and Altha (Griffin) Wrigley of Lake Charles and passed away on August 9th, 2020 at the age of 69 after a brief battle with cancer.
Juanita lived most of her life in Missouri. She graduated from Penny High in Hamilton in the year 1969. She worked for some time at the telephone company, as a waitress and finally as a cashier at the Kidder Gas station. Her oldest granddaughter would play under the coffee table while her regular customers would come in and spend hours in her company.
Juanita and her husband, Robert Jackson were joined in marriage on August 15th, 1980 and they shared nearly 40 years of undying love and commitment to one another. Robert moved heaven and earth for her on several occasions and ensured each and every day that she knew how loved and treasured she was. She was, and remains his entire world and he hers.
Juanita took much joy in her family. She was so proud of her son, James and his accomplishments in the military. She always strived to be present for promotions and other functions every chance she got. She supported him always as she did with many extended family whom she met through his military career. She loved to watch her granddaughters sing, play music, and perform and spending time with her grandson talking about his interests as a you-tuber. She loved gardening with her granddaughter when still in good health, some of her favorites were mini-roses and frog cherubs. These are among many other fun and loving memories cherished by so many! She would do anything for her family without a moment of hesitation.
All who met her express that she was such a sweetheart and how much they truly enjoyed spending time with her. She was always there to lend an ear or a helping hand to anyone she could. There was never any doubt that she was full of love for her family. She was a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, friend and she did it all flawlessly. Love flowed from her into all who had the pleasure of knowing her and she always put others first. She was tough as nails and didn’t take grief from anyone but showed nothing but kindness.
She is survived by her husband Robert Jackson of the home, her son James Wrex and his wife Jodie of Killeen . TX. Three grandchildren; Jordan Holdman and her husband Shane of Laquey, MO, and Jania and Jacen Wrex of Killeen, TX. And 2 great-grandchildren, Austin and Jackson Holdman of Laquey, MO. She will be missed more than imaginable and we await the day we can embrace her once again in the kingdom of heaven.
Arrangements under the direction of Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron, MO.
