Liz the Wiz... What an amazing and talented person!! Liz came out to work with me at Wineflower and we fell in love with her. My mother at trouble remembering her name, so Liz became affectionately known as “The girl with the puppy”. One time I remember I hand gone into town to get a new air hammer and while I was gone Liz fixed by previous two broken air hammers, 3 electric staplers, a miter saw and my propane heater. Last year, my mother died in a car accident and Liz was there for me. She came all dressed up in black and helped though the grieving process. She helped me build a cemetery on my land to lay my mother to rest. I have never met such a great woman than Liz other than my mother. I will deeply miss Liz. I want to attend the funeral and the there for her family like Liz was for me. When I told Liz thanks for all she had done for me she said, “No thanks needed. This is what I do. I am there for people when they need me!” And that she was! I will build a 4 acre garden in honor of Liz and name it “Lizette” after her, because that is what I do. If anyone has any suggestions on what plants she liked let me know. I will deeply deeply miss Liz. I thought she would come on back out again. She left a lasting memory in my mind. Every time I pick up a tool I will remember her. They all still work! My deepest sympathy to her family and friends. I wish I could have known her longer.

I remember the last time we all had dinner at Kelly and Clinton's house and I had made deviled eggs. I warned Wiz that the eggs had vinegar in them but she wanted to try them. She took one bite and her eyes bugged out while she made the craziest facial expression!! I wish I'd taken a picture because it was hilarious. Clearly she didn't like it but I don't remember what happened next because I was laughing so hard that I choked on my deviled egg.
