Cameron, Missouri- Patricia Maye Schalk, 79, passed away March 10, 2022.
She was born August 10, 1942, in Cameron, Missouri, to Robert and Mary Elizabeth (Rooney) Bird.
Patricia was a graduate of Cameron High School in 1960.
She married Gerald Schalk on June 10, 1972, where they resided in the Cameron area. Patricia was an LPN, working at the Cameron Community Hospital, and McClure Clinic.
Patricia volunteered at Comfort Care Hospice and served as secretary at St. Munchin Catholic Church.
She was a member of The Church of The Annunciation, of Kearney, Missouri.
Her greatest love was spending time with her family, raising her children, and the blessing of becoming a grandmother.
Patricia is predeceased by her parents, Bob and Mary Bird, and brothers, Ed Bird and Jerry Bird.
Survivors: husband, Gerald, of the home; son, Travis (Amber) Schalk; daughter, Beth (Jamie) Hamilton, both of Cameron, Missouri; 5 grandchildren, Austin Hughes, Adam Schalk, Rachel Ford, Hailey and Hayden Hamilton; 2 great-grandchildren, Emmalyn and Brenton Ford.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at St. Munchin Catholic Church, Cameron, Missouri. Rosary: 9:30 AM, with visitation at 10:00 AM- 11:00 AM. Burial in St. Munchin Catholic Cemetery.
