Cameron, Missouri- Pastor Peter Anthony Lopez, 43, Cameron passed away on July 2, 2014.
Peter was born on June 9, 1971 in Roswell, New Mexico to Joe and Emma (Anaya) Lopez.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma and father-in-law, Dana Berg.
Peter worked as a Corrections Officer for the State of Missouri in Cameron. His passion was being the Pastor of the Center Point Apostolic Church in Bethany, MO. He was a licensed minister of the United Pentecostal Church International, and he was very involved with the North American Missions Program.
On September 27, 1997, Peter married Christine Marie Berg of St. Joseph, MO.
Survivors: wife, Christine; 2 sons, Aaron and Antonio, all of the home; father, Joe Lopez, Odessa, TX; 2 brothers, Joe Lopez, Jr, Odessa, TX and Noe’ Lopez, Kearney, MO; mother-in-law, Barbara (Jude) Majeski, St. Joseph, MO and brother-in-law, Robert Berg, St. Joseph, MO.
Services: 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the Refuge Church, 1315 Nashua Road, Liberty, MO. Visitation: 6-8:00 PM, Monday evening at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, 222 W. Third Street, Cameron. Burial: Packard Cemetery, Cameron. Memorial donations to the Education Fund for Peter Lopez’s Children. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
