Obituary for Isabel Christine Bryant (Stockwell)

Cameron, Missouri- Isabel Christine Bryant, 102, Cameron, passed away on November 29, 2014 in Cameron Nursing facility where she had been a resident for 2 years.
Isabel was born September 11, 1912 to Robert and Augusta Stockwell in Winchester, Kansas. Due to illness of her mother, she was adopted by Edwin and Anna Sharp in November 1917.
In August 1932, she was given in marriage to Orville Bryant, at that time living in Kansas City, Missouri. To this union five children were born, Donald, Dale, Phyllis, Linda and Dorothy Fern.
Isabel was a homemaker and lived most of their growing up years in Nortonville, KS. Isabel was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Orville and 4 of the five children.
In 1999, after the death of her husband, she moved to Cameron, Missouri to be near her daughter, Linda Riddle.
She is survived by one son, Donald and wife, Vada Bryant, Blue Springs, MO; 4 grandchildren and several great and great-great-grandchildren.
Services: 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation: 10:30-11:00 AM, prior to the service. Burial: Nortonville Cemetery, Nortonville, KS. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the First Christian Church and/or Comfort Care Hospice, Cameron. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
