From Bill Lutgen to my brother from another mother...
As you go thru life you meet a lot people and make a lot of friends, but, if you are lucky you will have at least one besides your spouse that is special. Someone that you know you can call for anything and they will drop what they are doing and be their for you. Milton was that special one. As we were growing up there wasn't much we didn't do or at least try, some looking back we shouldn,t of but we were lucky and survived. Milton was the brother I never had. Milton was the biggest strongest man I have ever known, but also the mildest gentlest man with a kind heart and kind word for everyone. A couple of stories I've told to at least one hundred people or more. First about Mary Ann. We were sitting on my parents front porch thinking about what we were going to do and Mary Ann came walking by. Milton went nuts and starting hollering who is that. Mary Ann just kept walking on without looking back. I told Milton who she was and the rest is history. Milton fell in love with Mary Ann that day and until the day he passed he was still in love with her. The next little tale is about Milton and his son Milton 3rd. Buck Buchanan who played football for the Chiefs was going to be at the Blue Ridge Mall signing autographs so we took him out to get one. Buck was setting at a little table and not really looking up at who he was passing his picture out to. As we walk by Milton looked down at Buck and told him you're not nearly as big as you look on the field, this got Bucks attention and he looked up at Milton and said well I'm not quite as big as you. Milton I'm going to miss you but we will play again in heaven someday. Love you always.

Condolence: Cook Family: Words cannot describe the sadness in the air at our home. Milton was more than a friend to our family; he was truly a family member. I think if we spent 10 hours talking about him, we still couldn't tell all the stories because there are so many. He was the best friend anyone could ever ask for and we will always have very fond memories and miss him so very much. Our love to all of you.
