The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Larry Puterbaugh can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Growing up with Uncle Larry

When I was quite young Uncle Larry would come over and take me to Haun's Mill fishing (in Shoal Creek).  We never caught anything in those days, it was just good to be out in nature.

The Uncle's playing croquet was always good for a laugh.  They did play hard and had a lot of friendly family banter.

I think of Uncle Larry whenever I have a beer (which is often)  because he always called them "brewskies", which I never heard another person ever use.

I was really pleased he came and spent so much time at the cabin breakfast in January this year.  He said he didn't want to stay long then stayed longer than most.

Sorry Janet and I can't be there.
