Obituary for Clayton Andrew Ildza

Clayton Andrew Ildza, 91, of Gladstone, MO., passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015. The service will be held on Tuesday May 19, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery: 395 Biddle Blvd., Fort Leavenworth, KS 66027.
Clayton was born to Andrew and Anna Ildza on March 31, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan. He was a freemason and a member of Mensa. Clayton retired as a lieutenant colonel in the US Army and served in WWII, the Philippines, Guam and New Guinea in various trades. He retired from his second career as an engineer with Ford in 1980 working in the US, Canada and Argentina.
Clayton was preceded in death by his wife Ruth (2011) and two daughters Carol Ildza (2001) and Faith Villeneuve (2009). His son John and his wife Brenna, his seven grandchildren Willis Chippewa, Christina Mercer (Ben), Danielle Nikota (JP), Zachary, Ryan, Nicholas and Katherine Ildza, and his two great-grandchildren Cole and Samantha Mercer survive him.
