Osborn, Missouri- Ella Ray Burr, 83, Osborn, Missouri passed away on July 10, 2015.
Ella was born on September 8, 1931 in Osborn, Missouri to Carl and Kathryn (Hawn) Hankins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Col. Edmond Murray; 2nd husband, Robert Burr; 2 brothers, John and Rodney Hankins.
Ella graduated from Osborn High School and Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, MO with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
Ella was a former member of the Osborn Baptist Church, Osborn, MO; member of the Brookdale Presbyterian Church, St. Joseph, MO; member of the American Legion Auxiliary Lincoln-Anderson Post #169, Osborn, MO.
Survivors: 2 sons, Michael (Kelly) Murray, Allen, TX and James (Margaret) Murray, Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Susan (Julie) Murray, Rolla, MO; 3 brothers, Eugene Hankins, Cameron, Robert (Dorothy) Hankins, Cameron, Darrell (Jo) Hankins, Homewood, AL; 5 grandchildren, Luke Murray, Shannon Murray, Frank Murray, Jack Murray and Dace Murray; extended Robert Burr Family.
Services: 2:00 PM, Friday, July 17, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Osborn, MO. Visitation: 6-8:00 PM, Thursday evening at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron.
