Cameron, Missouri- Alma Audrey Schumacher, 94, Cameron, passed away on October 17, 2015.
Alma was born on October 3, 1921 in Lathrop, Missouri to William Grafton and Neva Blanche (Henderson) Chase.
She was a 1939 graduate of Cameron High School. Alma was a beautician for over 40 years, she owned and operated the Blue Bird Beauty Shop. She was a member of the Cameron United Methodist Church.
On April 23, 1966, Alma married J.D. Schumacher in Cameron, MO.
Alma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.D.; 2 sisters, Helen Elwood and Thelma Sprouse.
Survivors: 6 nieces, Audrey Sprouse, Cameron, Martha Ripple, California, MO, Donna (Jon) Rickman, Maryville, MO, Cheryl (Art) Watson, Macon, IL, Helen (Chuck) Broyles, Pittsburg, KS and Mary Ann Frock, Kansas City, MO; Nephew, Bob McCray, Kansas City, MO; several great-nieces and nephews.
Services: 2:00 PM, Friday, October 23, 2015 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation: 1-2:00 PM, prior to the service. Burial: Graceland Cemetery, Cameron. Memorial donations to the Cameron Food Pantry. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
