David J Reed
1934-2015


Cameron, Missouri- David J Reed, 80, Cameron passed away on October 22, 2015.
David was born on October 23, 1934 in Cameron, Missouri to William Randall and Merle Katherine (Knoch) Reed.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Patricia.
David was a 1952 graduate of Cameron High School and a 1956 graduate of University of Missouri in Agriculture.
He was a veteran in the United States Army as a 1st Lieutenant in the Air Defense Artillery.
David was a member of the Cameron United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Caldwell Historical Society, member of the Cameron Historical Society, Board member of the Caldwell County Foundation, Board member and past president of Caldwell County Farm Bureau and supporter of the Cameron Municipal Band and Cameron FFA.
Survivors: son, D.J. (Tracy) Reed, Cameron; 2 daughters, Gina Reed, Cameron and Anne Leonardo, St. Joseph, MO; brother, Dr. William R. (Celia) Reed, Kearney, MO; sister, Marilyn Davis, Shawnee Mission, KS; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial Service: 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Cameron United Methodist Church. Visitation: 5:30-7:00 PM, prior to the service. Memorial fund: Stella Grinstead Nutrition Center, Cameron. Inurnment at a later date in McDaniel Cemetery, Cameron.
