The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Richard Drennen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Loretta Scott
Condolence: My deepest condolences to Richard's family. I was blessed to work with Marlene and Richard at the Community Supper. Both of your parents were giving people. I enjoyed your father's sense of humor and the give an take between us. I called him "Ornery" because he was such a tease. I enjoyed visiting him in the nursing home and having prayer with him. He appreciated his family and friends who blessed him. I feel the greatest gift he gave to his children was the way he loved their mother. I am so sorry that I will not be able to attend the memorial service because of a pre-scheduled activity. Blessings and comfort to you all. Lovingly, Loretta Scott

Condolence From: Jack and Al Briggs
Condolence: We are so very saddened, again , having to say goodbye to a dear friend. We lost Marlene in July and now Richard has followed her to his resting place...a home in Heaven. To you, Richard's family we say we are so very sorry for your loss. We have enjoyed the company of Richard and Marlene for several years while participating in the Community Supper every Thursday night, and I have had the pleasure to work with Richard doing Toys For Tots, every fall. I miss them - I love these dear souls. They were good, good people. May the good Lord, bring comfort and peace to you, the family. Just know you were loved and talked about with joy and pride, by both Marlene and Richard.
