1950-2015

Hamilton, Missouri- George Leonard Simmons, 65, Hamilton, passed away on November 24, 2015.
George was born on November 7, 1950 in Marshall, Missouri to Henry Theodore and Rosa Elizabeth (Lawson) Simmons.
He was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church, Hamilton, MO and the Teamsters Union.
Survivors: son, Carl (Jennifer) Simmons, Cameron; 2 daughters, Kelly (Tom) Hargis, Kidder, and Amanda Simmons, Cameron; 3 brothers, Sam Simmons, Turney, Joe Simmons, Hamilton and Bill Simmons, Lake Ozark, MO; 9 grandchildren.
Mr. Simmons has been cremated under the direction of Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
