Cameron, Missouri- Robert A. Gabauer, 72, Cameron passed away on January 27, 2016.
Robert was born on April 14, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri to Louis and Rosemarie (Gardener) Gabauer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Rosemary Gabauer; siblings, Annie Spurgeon, Marcia Crossland, Louie Gabauer, Jr., Joe Gabauer, Peggy Salley and Barbara Monteil.
Robert worked for General Motors Company, before retiring and was a member of the UAW.
Survivors: 5 sons, Ted Gabauer, Florida, Gene Gabauer, Cameron, George (Cassie) Gabauer, St. Joseph, MO, Ace (Melissa) Gabauer, Cameron, Robert L. Gabauer, Cameron; daughter, Chrissy ( Kelby) Schreck, Cameron; 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Louise (Ivan) Elder, CeeCee (Dick) Sandifer, Corky (Bertie) Gabauer, Barney (Carrie) Gabauer, Tom (Kim) Gabauer, Martha Gallager, Gladys Gabauer; brother-in-law, Jim Monteil.
Services: 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation: 6-8:00 PM, Monday evening at the funeral home. Burial: 2:00 PM, following the service at Miller’s Chapel Cemetery, Sedalia, Missouri. Memorial donations to the Passion Church, Cameron, MO. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
