1923-2016

Charles Curtis Thompson, 92, Liberty, Missouri passed away February 20, 2016.
Charles was born on September 3, 1923 in Osawatomie, Kansas to Almon and Marie Adeline (Youngs) Thompson. They preceded him in death.
He was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp serving during World War II.
Charles worked as Foreman in the General Shop for TWA Overhaul Plant.
On March 24, 1946, Charles married Peggy Showman in Kansas. She survives of the home.
Additional Survivors: 2 daughters, Cyndy (Rick) Falco, Kansas City, MO and Chris (Bob) Seider, Kearney, MO; 3 grandsons, Andy Falco, Jason Seider and Ben Seider; 2 great-grandchildren, Alexus Falco and Kyle Seider.
Memorial Services: 6:00 PM, Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Liberty United Methodist Church, 1001 Sunset Ave., Liberty, MO 64068.
Visitation: 5-6:00 PM, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Luke’s Hospice, Kansas City, MO. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com. Arrangements by Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron, MO.
