Cameron, Missouri- Irene Elizabeth Koechner, 86, Cameron, passed away in March 28, 2016,
Irene was born on October 8, 1929 in Cameron, Missouri to James and Nellie (Murphy) Murray.
She was a 1947 graduate of Cameron High School.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin and sister, Alice Marie Dougherty.
She was a member of the St. Munchin Catholic Church, Altar Society and the Fifty-Three Federated Club.
Survivors: Children, Debbie Gates, Diane (Larry) Dunham, Jerry Koechner and Linda Smith, all of Cameron; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 AM, Friday, April 1, 2016 at St. Munchin Catholic Church, Cameron. Rosary: 6:00 PM, Thursday evening with visitation following 6:30-8:00PM at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Memorial donations to the Cameron Food Pantry, Toys for Tots and/or Cameron Elks BPOE #2615 all of Cameron, MO. Burial: Cameron Memory Gardens, Cameron. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
