Cameron, Missouri- Herbert Dale Jackson, 88, Cameron, passed away May 1, 2016.
Herbert was born to Jacob Marvin and Sophia Faye Jackson on Feb. 28, 1928.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob Marvin and Sophia Jackson; sisters, Betty and Ruth Smith and brother, Vernon Clark.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty; 3 sons, David (Colene) Jackson, Alan (Joyce) Jackson, Larry (Connie) Jackson; grandchildren, Luke Jackson, Zeb Jackson, Jill Jackson, Logan Jackson, Dylan Jackson, Hannah Gardner, Marcy Sobotka; brother, Max Jackson; great-grandchildren, Kade Jackson, Bowman Gardner, Arlee Sobotka and Aubree Sobotka.
Herbert was born near Hamilton, Missouri and graduated from Cameron High School. He worked his whole life in the auto repair business. He enjoyed auto racing, the Royals and Chiefs, and being with family and friends.
Services: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the First Christian Church, Cameron. Visitation: 10-11:00AM, prior to the service. Burial: Cameron Memory Gardens, Cameron, MO.
