Oh Carol,
I am so sorry for your loss. It must have come as such a surprise as I haven't heard anything since his surgrey when he was feeling better.
We are not suppose to outlive our children, but each of us is born with an expiration date on our soul, and we just don't know until the end when it is revealed to us.
