1929-2016

Cameron, Missouri- John Henry Korneman, 87, Cameron, passed away on November 27, 2016.
John was born on July 25, 1929 in Cameron, Missouri to John and Leona (Paul) Korneman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nellie Korneman and 2 sisters, Ruth West and Doris Peabody.
John was a 1947 graduate of Cameron High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
John was a lifelong farmer and a member of the American Legion Elmer Ellis Post #33; former board member of the Cameron Special Road District and Harlan Cemetery Board.
Survivors: 2 sons, Clay (Sherie) Korneman and Paul (Pam) Korneman, Cameron; 5 grandchildren.
Services: 10:30 AM, Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation: 6:30-8:00 PM, Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Burial: Harlan Cemetery, Cameron. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Harlan Cemetery. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
