King City, Missouri- Alvin Rhea “Bud” Clampitt, Jr., 70, King City, passed away on February 18, 2017.
Bud was born on March 18, 1946 in Cameron, Missouri to Alvin and Vada (Kirkendoll) Clampitt, Sr.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters, Betty Moore, Mary Dice and Verna Noggler.
Bud was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam.
Survivors: wife, Evelyn Clampitt of the home; 3 sons, Alvin “Buddy” Clampitt, III, Wichita, KS, Leroy Clampitt, King City, MO and David (Jennifer) Clampitt, Maysville, MO; 2 daughters, Amy Clampitt, Wichita, KS and Mary (Paul) Jenkins, King City, MO; sister, Karen Patterson, Cameron; 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Services: 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation: 7-8:00 PM, Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Burial: Wamsley Cemetery, Cameron, MO. Memorial donations to Poland-Thompson Funeral Home for expenses. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
