Cameron, Missouri- Raymond “Ray” Lynn Morton, 87, Cameron passed away on March 19, 2017.
Ray was born on March 2, 1930 in Kansas City, Kansas to Homer and Marie Anna (Hillers) Morton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roy Morton; 2 sisters, Margaret Thornsberry and Mary Alice Jones.
Ray worked as a Line Paint Inspector for General Motors, before retiring. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War.
On March 19, 1973, Ray married Mary Ann Shepard.
Survivors: wife, Mary of the home; 2 daughters, Diana (Rob) Hoover, Lee’s Summit, MO and Eileen (David) Ray, Kansas City, MO; 2 step-sons, Steve (Cindy) Pratte and Don Klug; stepdaughter, Blinda (Glenn) Petty; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Service: 11:00 AM, Friday, March 24, 2017 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation: 10-11:00AM, prior to the service.
Burial: Graceland Memorial Cemetery, Cameron. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
