James L. Wilson
1954-2017


Kidder, Missouri- James Lee Wilson, 62, Kidder, passed away on March 21, 2017.
James was born on April 1, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri to Lee James and Beulah Gertrude (Thompson) Wilson. They preceded him in death.
James was a 1971 graduate of Lafayette High School and attended college in conservation.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving as a Navy Seal during the Vietnam War where he earned a Bronze Star.
James was the Boss of Wilson Electric.
On April 22, 1983, James married Tammy Buck in Pineville, Missouri. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors: 2 sons, James Lee Wilson, Kidder and Matt (Tosha) Wilson, Hamilton, MO; 4 daughters, Cristina (Bobby Redmer II) Wilson, Kidder, MO, Cher Wilson, St. Joseph, MO, Tasha George, Jamesport and Andrea Wilson, Kansas City, MO; 2 brothers, Dennis Wilson and Ronald Wilson; 19 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Memorial service: 7:30 PM, Monday, March 27, 2017 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron, MO. Visitation: 5:30-7:30 PM, prior to the service. Inurnment at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to Poland-Thompson Funeral Home for expenses. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
