King City, Missouri- Evelyn Joyce Clampitt, 71, King City, Missouri passed away on May 2, 2017.
Evelyn was born on July 13, 1945 in Houston, Texas to Everett and Evelyn (Liechlicter) McGee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bud Clampitt and 2 sisters, Patricia and Linda.
Evelyn was a seamstress for Stride Rite before retiring.
Survivors: 3 sons, Robert (Kathy) Yates, Kingston, MO, Leroy Alvin Clampitt, King City, MO and David (Jennifer) Clampitt, Maysville, MO; daughter, Mary (Paul) Jenkins, King City, MO; stepchildren, Alvin “Buddy” Clampitt III and Amy Clampitt, Wichita, KS; 4 brothers, Everett McGee, St. Louis, MO, Johnny McGee, Ronnie McGee and Dale McGee, Harlowton, MT; 5 sisters, Judy Tospon, Hamilton, MO, Kathy Hayes, Kidder, MO, Carolyn Norris, Neosho, MO, Mary Ross, Nanaimo, British Columbia, and Sandra McGee, Smithville, MO; 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Service: 2:00 PM, Monday, May 8, 2017 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation: 1-2:00 PM, prior to the service. Burial: Wamsley Cemetery, Cameron. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
