Cameron, Missouri- Lois Faye Mallen, 74, Cameron, passed away on May 24, 2017.
Lois was born on August 23, 1942 in Turney, Missouri to Forrest and Faye (Pickett) Doak. They preceded her in death.
She was a 1960 graduate of Cameron High School and worked as a Teacher’s Aide for the Cameron School District for many years, before retiring. Lois enjoyed volunteering for any organization involving her family. She was a member of the St. Munchin Catholic Church, Cameron.
On January 7, 1961, Lois married James Mallen in Cameron, Missouri.
Survivors: husband of 56 years, James of the home; 3 sons, Scott (Tammy) Mallen; Mark (Lauri) Mallen, all of Cameron; Matt (Megan) Mallen, Kansas City, MO; sister, Sue Doak, Cameron; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Lois was a devoted wife, sister, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 AM, Friday, May 26, 2017 at St. Munchin Catholic Church, Cameron. Rosary: 6:30 PM, with visitation 7-8:30 PM, Thursday evening at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron, MO. Burial: St. Munchin Catholic Cemetery, Cameron.
