Kansas City, Mo.- John Dean Hammontree, 74, formerly of Cameron, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017.
John was born January 9, 1943, to James and Opal (Waldron) Hammontree.
John retired as an engineer for the Soo line railroad.
Survivors: Son, John (Joan) Hammontree, Pleasant Valley, MO; daughter, Lisa (Dale) Barnhart, Kansas City, MO and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services: 1:00 PM, Monday, June 5, 2017 at Poland Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation: 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM prior to the service. Burial: Cameron Memory Gardens, Cameron, MO.
Memorial: Northcare Hospice and Palliative Care, North Kansas City, MO. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
