Cameron, Missouri- James “Jamie” J. Mallen, 76, Cameron passed away on September 21, 2017.
James was born November 12, 1940 in Cameron, MO to Patrick and Pauline (McWilliams) Mallen.
James was a 1959 graduate of Cameron High School.
He was a member of St. Munchin Catholic Church, Cameron.
James worked for the United States Postal Services as a carrier, before retiring. He also farmed for many years, raising pigs and cattle.
On January 7, 1961, James married Lois Doak in Cameron, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lois and brother, John; 2 sisters, Regina Graham and Mary Marnett.
Survivors: 3 sons, Scott (Tammy Barcome) Mallen; Mark (Lauri Stice) Mallen, all of Cameron; Matt (Megan Sigrist) Mallen, Kansas City, MO; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 AM, Monday, September 25, 2017 at St. Munchin Catholic Church, Cameron. Rosary: 5:00 PM, with visitation 5:30-7:30 PM, Sunday evening at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron, MO. Burial: St. Munchin Catholic Cemetery, Cameron. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Munchin Catholic Church. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
