Soon Ji Park Chung, 87, Cameron, passed away on September 23, 2017.
Soon Ji was born on September 1, 1930 in Nam Hae, South Korea to Jong Soon Park and Young An Ryu.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 67 years, In Yoo Chung in 2014.
Soon Ji was a graduate of Busan Women’s High School. She was the hospitality manager for the family hotels and restaurants.
Survivors: 3 sons, Heon-Mo “Bill” Chung and wife, Gee-Sung Kim, Cameron; Joon-Mo Chung and wife, Paula, Kansas City, MO, Hong-Mo Chung and wife, Gye Ri Kang, Kansas City, MO; 2 daughters, Kil-Sook Chung and husband, Young-Ho Kim, San Diego, Ca and Hee-Sook Chung and husband, Kyung-Joo Jin, Cameron, MO; 2 sisters, Soon-Bok Park and Soon-Ok Park, South Korea; 10 grandchildren Do-Hyung Kim, Do-Woong Kim, Eun-Jung Jin, Dae-Hyun Jin, Gilbert Chung, Derek Chung, Eric Chung, Su-Jung Chung, Da-Jung Chung and Gee-oon Chung.
Services: 11:00AM, Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation: 7-9:00 PM, Monday evening at the funeral home. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery, Cameron, MO. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
