Cameron, Missouri- Sandra Mae Garr, 79, Cameron, passed away on October 4, 2017.
Sandra was born on October 2, 1938 in Cameron, Missouri to Russell Glen and Leona (Stark) Frost.
She was a 1956 graduate of Cameron High School. She worked as a Claims Examiner for Cameron Insurance Company.
Sandra was a member and served as a priest of Community of Christ Church, Cameron.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rex; son, Mark; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Sandra was a volunteer at nursing homes and assisted living centers. She loved being with her grandchildren.
Survivors: 2 sons, Richard (Cindy) Garr, St. Joseph, MO, Steven (Beth) Garr, Plattsburg, MO; daughter-in-law, Teresa Garr (Russ Hemme), St. James, MO; 15 grandchildren; niece, Judy Hamm, Kansas City, MO.
Memorial Service: 3:00 PM, Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the Community of Christ, Cameron. Visitation: 2-3:00 PM, prior to the service. Inurnment: Graceland Memorial Cemetery, Cameron. Memorial fund: Community of Christ and/or Camp Quality. Mrs. Garr has been cremated under the direction of Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
