1962-2017


Turney, Missouri- Mark Elwood Pierson, 55, Turney, Missouri passed away on November 19, 2017.
Mark was born on March 25, 1962 in North Kansas City, Missouri to Larry and Lorene (Randolph) Pierson.
He was a 1980 graduate of Lathrop High School. Mark owned and operated his own framing business from 1997-2009. From 2009 to current, Mark worked as a carpenter for Waterpark Management.
Mark was preceded in death by his brother, David in 1995.
On September 21, 1996, Mark married Rhonda Pohlmann in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Mark was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a family man and a loving son, husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors: wife of 21 years, Rhonda of the home; son, Ethan Pierson, Gladstone, MO; 2 daughters, Kiley Pierson, Henrietta, MO and Kelsie Pierson, Hardin, MO; parents, Larry and Lorene Pierson, Lathrop, MO; sister, Susie Gibson, Excelsior Springs, MO; 4 grandchildren, Hendrix, Maverick, Cooper and Ella; 1 niece and 4 nephews.
Services: 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation: 6-8:00PM, Friday evening at the funeral home. Burial: Elmira Cemetery, Elmira, MO. Memorial fund: Grandchildren Education Fund. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
