Osborn, Missouri- James “Jim” Edward Findley, 89, Osborn, passed away on December 25, 2017.
Jim was born on May 3, 1928 in Osborn, Missouri to Clyde and Maude (Bradley) Findley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Mary; 2nd wife, Delpha; an infant daughter and sister, Margaret Miller.
Jim was a 1946 graduate of Osborn High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean War.
He was a member of the Osborn United Methodist Church, Osborn School Board, Lions Club, ASCS County Committee; Osborn Evergreen Cemetery, Osborn Senior Housing and American Legion Lincoln-Anderson Post #169.
Survivors: 2 sons, Dennis (Patty) Findley, Osborn, MO and Bob (Janie) Findley, St. Joseph, MO; 5 grandchildren, Tim Findley, Jeff Findley, Mary Adamek, Matthew Findley, Justin Jennings; 8 great-grandchildren; step-son, Steve Yoder; step-daughter, Kim Goff; 4 step-grandchildren, Lukas, Daniel, David and Matthew; 8 step-great-grandchildren; niece- Peggy Leland.
Services: 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Osborn United Methodist Church, Osborn, MO. Visitation: 1-2:00 PM, prior to the service. Burial: Osborn Evergreen Cemetery.
