The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Carolyn (Gaffney) Kent can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Debbie Asher
Condolence: Carolyn opened her home to me in 2007 while I was researching my Asher family genealogy. She was so kind and helpful to a stranger from Texas who she had never met but knew my grandmother and great aunt very well. I will always be grateful for her kindness and knowledge imparted to me. She will be missed by many.

Condolence: To Tom, Rosann and Rita: Dear Friends, I just heard of your Mom's passing. I feel so bad I just now found out. My happiest times as a boy were going to Carolyn and Gene's. Our greatest times were fishing on the Little Tarke with Tom and my Brother Steave, and our Dads. Your Mom always made me feel like I was like one of her kids. Your parents were of the closest friends my parents ever had. Please accept my condolences at her passing. After all these years, Carolyn and Gene are together again. Rosann, it was so great to talk with you at Dad' viewing. It felt so good to see you again. Blessings upon you, you wonderful Kents.

Condolence: Tom, Rosann, Rita and families...I was so saddened when I received the news that your dear Mother went home to God. I have so many memories from my childhood when Gene and Carolyn would come out to visit my Mom and Dad. They truly enjoyed each others' company.
