Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rosa Lea Peterson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Cathie Whitlock
Condolence: She will always be Mrs. Johnson” to me. She taught me English in high school. CHS yearbook you bet. She taught me to love, To Kill a Mockingbird. In fact, I just started to read it again, before I read her obituary. She taught me at the First Baptist Church and Girl’s Auxiliary. She took a group of girls to Windamere in south MO. Because of her, 3 young women didn’t drown at the lake and prevented me from drowning trying to save them. I just told my daughter this story. I loved Mrs. Johnson and someday will see her and young Donna again.
