Kansas City, Missouri- Dennis Patrick O’Connell, 60, Kansas City formerly of Cameron, Missouri passed away on August 23, 2018.
Dennis was born April 28, 1958 to John Pete and Mary Ruth (Sheek) O’Connell in Kansas City, Missouri.
He attended St. Rita’s Grade School, was a 1976 graduate of Cameron High School, then earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Missouri Western State University.
He worked as a computer programmer for USDA, of Kansas City and was a member of St. Munchin Catholic Church, Cameron.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father, John Pete.
Survivors: mother, Mary Ruth O’Connell, Kansas City, MO; siblings and familes, Mary Cay (Frank) Tokic and Sean, Michael, Nicholas Tokic, Stilwell, KS Kevin O’Connell, and Collin and Casey O’Connell, Excelsior Springs, MO, Tim (Dianna) O’Connell and Pete (Victoria), Jake (Tara), Quint (Debra) and Daniel O’Connell, Seminole, OK Anita (Chris) Bonderer, Carlie, Tristan, Annie and Madison, Bonderer, Danville, CA; 2 great-nieces and 2 great-nephews; uncle, Mark O’Connell, Cameron; aunt, Julie (John) Harper, Overland Park, KS; and numerous cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 AM, Monday, August 27, 2018 at St. Munchin Catholic Church, Cameron. Rosary: 5:00 PM, Sunday evening with visitation from 5:30PM-7:30 PM at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Burial: St. Munchin Catholic Cemetery, Cameron. Memorial donation to St. Munchin Catholic Church, Cameron.
