1923-2014
St. Joseph, Missouri- Gilbert L. Brunker, 91, St. Joseph, formerly of Cameron, quietly passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at a care center in St. Joseph, MO.
Gilbert married Adeline M. Skillman in 1946 and enjoyed 62 years of marriage until her passing in 2008. They had 3 children, Robert (Mary) Brunker, Linda (Anthony) Hulen and Donald (Janet) Brunker.
Gilbert was a member in the Church of Christ, Cameron. He proudly served in World War II in the U.S. Navy.
He was proud of his family that expanded to 3 children giving him seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral Services: 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation: 10-11:00 AM, prior to the service. Burial with military honors at Cameron Memory Gardens, Cameron, MO. Memorials are requested to the Disabled Veterans and/or the Cameron Church of Christ. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
