The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kenneth Ausmus can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Patricia Salmon Durie
Condolence: Mr. Ausmus was my Algebra, Advanced Algebra, and Trigonometry teacher at Maysville High School. He had a wonderful ability to explain and demonstrate the intricacies of these subjects and also, instinctively, to understand when students didn't comprehend and needed further instruction. He was an outstanding role model in terms of patience and a great sense of humor. He was a dedicated professional. His was a life well-lived.

I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your father. ait's very tough to lose a loved one, especially at this time of year. My mother passed away in 2012 3 days after Christmas as the age of 92.

Condolence: We send our condolences to the family of Kenneth Ausmus. Ken and I coached together for two years at Maysville and roomed together when we got our Masters Degree over a period of 3 summers. The part we loved most was when our family and Ausmus family would get together and have an evening meal when you lived on the farm. Following the meal, the parents would play cards and the kids would all play together. Your mother and father were great friends. Thanks for sharing them. Julie, you and our Paul were about the same age. We hope God will be with you all and give you peace and strength.
Ernie and Yuvonne Connell, Lakeland, FL.
