Kansas City, Missouri- Ellen Frances Richardson, 78, Kansas City, MO passed away on January 18, 2016.
Ellen was born on May 20, 1937 in Cameron, Missouri to Gilford and Emma (Sturgis) Carter.
On December 6, 1952, Ellen married James Richardson in Bentonville, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; 2 sisters, Josephine Wright and Verna Goldsbury; brother, William G. Carter.
Ellen was a member of the Avondale United Methodist Church, Avondale, MO and the Red Hat Society.
Survivors: Son, Jim (Cecilia) Richardson, Liberty, MO; 5 grandchildren, Jim L., Cynthia, Sarah, Lisa and Emily; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothea Young, Kansas City, MO; brother-in-law, Jack Richardson, Union Star, MO.
Services: 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation: 1-2:00 PM, prior to the service. Burial: Cameron Memory Gardens, Cameron. Memorial donations to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
