Cameron, Missouri- Gilbert “Gib” Keith, 95, Cameron, passed away on August 5, 2018 at the Missouri Veteran’s Home, Cameron.
Gib was born March 10, 1923 in Trenton, Missouri to Gilbert E. and Edith (VanCleave) Keith. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Dolores Keith.
He was a graduate of Trenton High School. Gib was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in World War II.
Gib worked for N.W. Electric Cooperative as an Economic Developer, retiring in 1988,
Gib was a member of the First Christian Church, Elmer Ellis Post #33, Cameron, served for 30 years on the Veteran’s Home Assistance League.
Survivors: 2 daughters, Trich Schellman, Charleston, SC and Denice (Greg) Gates, Princeton, MO; 4 grandchildren, Ashleigh (Jamie) McCathern, Nycole Leeper, Rachel Garrison and Taylor Gates; 6 great-grandchildren.
Services: 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the First Christian Church, Cameron. Visitation: 4-6:00 PM, Tuesday evening at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron, MO. Memorial donations: First Christian Church and/or Missouri Veteran’s Home Assistance League.
